'92 Mustang in the works. We are near completion, with full write up coming. For the engine mangement system, we are running a Mega Squirt 3. Engine computer and wiring harness Customz built by Timmy. Engine short block is from a turbo 2.3l Ford SVO. Cyclinder head is from the 92 Mustang. Template had to be made to add crank sensor to earlier SVO 2.3l turbo block. We drilled out block, and installed and installed crank sensor that orignally fit 92 Mustang. Had to add camshaft sensor, used in Ford Ranger califonia models, to be able to add squential injection and ignition timing. We are also running a wide band o2 sensor to help tune the sequential fuel injection and sequential ignition timing.

 Finished cobra disc brake conversion on front, made new hard lines, made new brackets forcobra rubber brake hoses. Sporting 8.8" rear axle with limited slip and 3.5 ratio. Installed traction lift bar conversion on rear suspension.

Rear body raises and plants rear tires firmly during take off with just a little wheel hop left.



So we had a '96 Ranger with a 2.3L 4-cyl engine laying around and figured we may as well put a turbo on it. We had to eliminate a few stock components such as the exhaust system, cooling fan, air conditioning components, and air cleaner. At the same time we had to reroute a few other stock items such as the alternator and ignition coils to name a few. In order to do this we had to build custom brackets. While we were at it we gave a few of the components some 'candy color looking' paint.

The blue paint really stands out...We don't really see the big deal with this type of paint. Seems easy enough to apply.
